Cairo: The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the Arab Republic of Egypt will host an emergency Arab summit on 27 February 2025, in Cairo.
According to Oman News Agency, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that the summit will be convened in coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is currently presiding over the Arab League summit, along with the Secretariat General of the Arab League.
The ministry further elaborated that the decision to convene the summit emerged from extensive consultations and coordination at the highest levels with Arab countries. This includes the State of Palestine, which initiated the request for the summit. The primary agenda will focus on addressing the critical developments surrounding the Palestinian cause.
