WhatsApp Announces New Update for ChatGPT

Gaza: WhatsApp announced a new update to the smart chat robot ChatGPT within its application, which enables users to send not only texts, but also images and voice notes to the robot.

According to Oman News Agency, the new update enables users around the world to upload images and send voice notes to ChatGPT, which will analyze them and respond to them in text. This development makes interaction with the artificial intelligence (AI) robot more flexible, especially for those who prefer voice dictation over writing.

In addition, WhatsApp allows users to link their accounts to ChatGPT, whether they are free or paid accounts, which gives subscribers to Plus and Pro plans the ability to access some exclusive features that were previously only available through OpenAI applications and its websites.

To interact with the chatbot, users need to save the previously mentioned number in their smartphone contacts, then restart WhatsApp. The official ChatGPT account will then appear in the contacts list, allowing them to start a conversation directly using text, images, or voice messages.

This integration aims to provide a smoother experience for users, especially those with slow internet connections or data restrictions. It also allows them to benefit from the capabilities of AI without the need to download a separate application, which saves storage space on their devices.
