Beirut: Two people were injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon today. According to Oman News Agency, citing a statement from the Lebanese Public Health Emergency Operations Center, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a house in the Jabal Al-Ahmar area between the towns of Shoukin and Harouf in the Nabatieh district, wounding two people, including a child. The ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, which went into effect on 27 November 2024, stipulated the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. However, the occupation forces remained stationed at five points, and they continue to violate it from time to time.
