Jerusalem: Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem today, under heavy protection from the occupation forces.
According to Oman News Agency, the settlers entered Al-Aqsa in successive groups and conducted Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the mosque. This occurred amid a significant Israeli police presence surrounding the Al-Qibli prayer hall and the Dome of the Rock.
The Israeli police also placed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers through the mosque's gates. They confiscated the ID cards of several worshippers, thereby restricting their movement within the mosque area.
