Saudi Military Official Visits Maritime Security Centre.


Muscat: Lt. Gen Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Gharibi, Chief of Staff of the Saudi Royal Naval Forces, and his accompanying delegation today visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). The visit aimed at strengthening the maritime security cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, the Saudi military delegation was accompanied by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO). Upon their arrival at the centre, they were received by Commodore Adil Hamoud Al Busaidi, Head of the MSC.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre to ensure the safety of the Omani maritime environment. The briefing highlighted the strategic importance of the centre in maintaining regional maritime security.

The delegation also toured the centre’s facilities, gaining insights into the latest equipment and technologies employed in fulfilling its national duties. The visit underscored the commitment of both nations to c
ollaborate in enhancing maritime security and operational readiness.
