Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, today met with Edmondo Cirielli, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic. The meeting focused on strengthening and expanding cooperation between Oman and Italy across various sectors to serve mutual interests.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions also included an exchange of perspectives on regional issues and developments in the Middle East. Both parties expressed a commitment to fostering closer ties and addressing common challenges in the region.

The meeting was attended by Munthir Mahfoudh Al Manthiri, Head of the Europe Department at the Foreign Ministry, Pierluigi D’Elia, Ambassador of Italy to Oman, and several officials from both nations.
