Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran on his country's National Day. In his message, His Majesty expressed his sincere sentiments and best wishes of success to President Pezeshkian in realizing growth, prosperity, and stability for the people of Iran. His Majesty also conveyed hopes for the ongoing progress of cooperative relations between Oman and Iran.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty the Sultan also sent a similar cable of greetings to Pope Francis, the Head of State of Vatican City, on the occasion of the Vatican's National Day. In this message, His Majesty expressed his sincere sentiments and best wishes to Pope Francis and the people of the Vatican, wishing them continued welfare and prosperity.
