Ibra: The Directorate General of Health Services in North A'Sharqiyah Governorate today organized the first forum on women and children's health in the governorate. Held in the Wilayat of Ibra, the forum focused on exchanging experiences, exploring successful practices, and enhancing integration among health institutions to provide more efficient and sustainable services to the public. According to Oman News Agency, the forum concluded with recommendations emphasizing the continuous development of healthcare for mothers and children. Key measures include updating therapeutic and preventive protocols and utilizing performance indicators and health data as a foundation for decision-making. The forum also advocated for strengthened partnerships and integration among health institutions, relevant authorities, and society. The event served as a platform to review the efforts of the Department of Women and Child Health in North A'Sharqiyah Governorate and its strategic programs. Presentations covered the speciali zations of health departments and the national programs listed in the 5-year plan and Oman Vision 2040. Additionally, health performance indicators and achievements during 2026 were reviewed to assess their impacts.
