Oman and Burkina Faso Explore Economic and Investment Opportunities

Muscat: Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, met with Karamoko Jean Marie Traor©, Burkina Faso's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore economic and investment partnerships.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting highlighted the potential for collaboration in sectors of mutual interest. Discussions focused on developing trade exchange and encouraging reciprocal investments to support economic growth for both countries.

The dialogue included the exchange of expertise and enhancing communication between public and private sector institutions. Both parties emphasized opening new avenues for cooperation in commercial, industrial, and investment fields.

The Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion reiterated Oman's commitment to expanding economic partnerships with African countries. This aligns with Oman Vision 2040, aiming to diversify the economy, enhance business competitiveness, and attract quality investments.

This meeting is part of the Ministry's efforts to promote international economic relations and build strategic partnerships that support sustainable development and shared interests.
