Muscat: The State Council today welcomed a delegation from the France-GCC Parliamentary Friendship Group, marking a significant diplomatic engagement. The delegation, led by Olivier Cadec, the Head of the France-GCC Parliamentary Friendship Group in the French Senate, was greeted by Salim Musallam Qutn, Deputy Chairman of the State Council.

According to Oman News Agency, the delegation’s visit included a comprehensive briefing on the State Council’s role within Oman’s regulatory framework, highlighting the Council’s key tasks and responsibilities. The meeting underscored the importance of understanding and cooperation between the two entities.

The session saw the participation of the Secretary General of the State Council alongside several Council members, reflecting the importance attributed to the visit and the ongoing dialogue between Oman and the France-GCC Parliamentary Friendship Group.
