Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, received president and members of the Bahrain Voluntary Works Society and a delegation from the Digital Skills Academy in Türkiye.

Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, attended the meeting.

The chairman praised the Bahrain Voluntary Works Society initiative that aims to implement artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation programs in civil organizations, in order to advance administrative, financial and technical work in accordance with international standards.

He stressed the importance of voluntary and charitable institutions keeping pace with the growing technological development, in order to further improve the level of services provided to serve the community.

Al Saleh was briefed on the Turkish academy’s projects and programs. He praised their completion of the digital transformation of Non-governmental organization (NGOs) in Bahrain, which was carried out in cooperation with the National Center for NGO’s Support at the Ministry of Social Development, and 40 NGOs from various associations registered with the Ministry.
