Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad discussed with the UK's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs David Lammy and Secretary of State for Defense John Healey the recent developments in Gaza. In a statement on Wednesday, the Qatari Amiri Diwan said that during the meeting held in Doha, the two sides discussed bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation, as well as the recent regional and international developments, especially in Gaza Strip. Earlier today, Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman and Lammy discussed the impact of the assassination of Hamas' political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and the recent developments in the mediation efforts to end the war on Gaza.
