Talal Suleiman Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil, has been chosen as 'Brazil's Personality of the Year' in appreciation for his contributions towards enhancing sustainable development of bilateral relations between Oman and Brazil. Al Rahbi received the Honorary Medal of 'Juscelino Kubitschek', the loftiest accolade awarded by the Brazilian Academy for Influential Personalities in Brazil. The medal was conferred on the Omani ambassador at the annual ceremony held by the Brazilian National Congress to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Federal Capital, Brasilia, President Juscelino Kubitschek.
