Oman Set to Showcase Agricultural Initiatives at “Belagro 2026” in Belarus


Minsk: The Sultanate of Oman is preparing to participate in the “Belagro 2026” exhibition, an international event focusing on agriculture and industry, in Minsk, Belarus, beginning on Tuesday, 2 June 2026. This engagement will span several days and feature a pavilion hosting various Omani companies from both the public and private sectors.



According to Oman News Agency, the pavilion will highlight Oman’s national projects and initiatives in agricultural, fisheries, and water sustainability, alongside investment opportunities within these sectors. The Omani delegation will be led by Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, accompanied by ministry officials and representatives from government companies in the food security sector.



In addition, the Commercial Delegation, headed by Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), will include board members and representatives from Omani companies in the industrial, technology, and food security sectors. Oman’s participation aims to enhance its global presence and expand economic and investment cooperation in key sectors.



The Omani-Belarusian Business Forum will be held alongside the exhibition. The forum’s agenda includes discussions on economic and commercial cooperation between Oman and Belarus, joint investment opportunities, and bilateral partnerships. The event will also feature B2B meetings for companies in the food, industrial, and technology sectors.



The Omani delegation’s agenda includes bilateral meetings with Belarusian officials to explore joint cooperation and expertise exchange. Field visits to agricultural and industrial projects are planned to learn about modern agricultural production and food industry technologies.



Additionally, the commercial delegation will tour selected factories and institutions in the technology and communications sector, as well as facilities specializing in food security, equipment, and machinery.
