Beijing: China’s Ministry of Commerce has announced that China and the European Union are discussing the establishment of a consultation mechanism on trade and investment, and will hold a related dialogue on the matter.

According to Oman News Agency, in response to a media inquiry regarding the steering discussion conducted by the College of Commissioners of the European Commission on EU-China relations, a ministry spokesperson stated that China has maintained smooth communication with the European Union.
