Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received Scott Gilmore, Advisor to the Canadian Prime Minister for Foreign, Defense, and Security Policy, in Muscat today. The meeting highlighted the shared interest of Oman and Canada in developing cooperative relations and partnerships across various fields.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing economic and commercial ties, as well as fostering collaboration in education, academic exchange, and diplomatic efforts. Both parties expressed a commitment to intensifying consultation and joint actions to address regional and international issues.

The officials emphasized the importance of international and multilateral cooperation to tackle global challenges. They stressed the necessity of reinforcing dialogue and diplomacy to support stability, peaceful coexistence, and balance in international relations.
