Caretaker Minister of Industry, MP George Bushkian, denounced in a statement on Sunday the infringement on the people and religious, sports and social places in Bourj Hammoud, 'the area that embraces all Lebanese groups.' He explained that "the peculiarity of Bourj Hammoud, in the past and even today, lies in the coexistence between members of the sects, and this is the advantage of the Lebanese Armenians." However, this does not imply giving up on defending their rights and dignity and the priority they give to living in peace and security, under the authority of the law, Bushkian continued to explain.
