Khartoum Airport Stable After Drone Strike, Flights to Resume Soon

Khartoum: The Press Office of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism announced that a site within the premises of Khartoum International Airport was targeted by a drone strike, without any recorded loss of life or property damage. The office clarified that the relevant security and military authorities responded immediately to the incident and promptly initiated technical and security procedures in accordance with approved protocols, while continuing the necessary assessments to ensure the highest levels of safety and security.

According to Sudan News Agency, flight operations at Khartoum International Airport will resume normally and without delay once these routine procedures are completed. In this context, the office called on citizens and media outlets to exercise accuracy, obtain information from official sources, and avoid circulating rumors or unverified reports.

The office reaffirmed that the situation remains under control, and that the safety of citizens and the protection of facilities remain a top priority, with full coordination ongoing among the relevant authorities to ensure continued stability.
