Muscat: Delegated by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani conveyed the Emir's condolences and sympathy to the members of the Royal Family on the demise of the late His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said.

According to Oman News Agency, Sheikh Jassim was accompanied during the offering of condolences at the Royal Family's majlis in Muscat by Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee, Sheikh Faisal bin Jassim Al Thani, and Mubarak bin Fahd Al Thani, Ambassador of Qatar to Oman.
