HH Sayyid Theyazin Delivers Address to Mark Omani Youth Day


Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, affirmed that Omani Youth Day, observed annually on 26 October in the Sultanate of Oman, is a pivotal occasion to renew confidence in the nation’s youth. In his address, His Highness emphasized pride in the youth’s contribution and devotion, highlighting their awareness and responsibility towards Oman’s present and future.



According to Oman News Agency, His Highness elaborated on the importance of this day, stating that the continuity celebrated is more than just the passage of time; it represents the depth of national belonging and sustainable contribution. He stressed that it is a connection between the past, present, and future of Oman, all aiming for the development of the beloved homeland.



His Highness underlined the belief of the Sultanate of Oman, under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, in youth as the foundation of the Renewed Renaissance. He highlighted the various programs and initiatives designed to enhance youth participation, creativity, and innovation, ensuring their role as partners in shaping Oman’s future.



The address praised the youth for proving their worth across various fields, from science and technology to arts and sports, and voluntary work. His Highness encouraged the youth to continue their diligent work, enthusiasm, and responsibility, emphasizing true empowerment through self-belief and continuous effort towards leadership.
