Muscat: The first company specializing in health insurance claims management, 'Green Line Health Insurance Claims Management Company,' has been launched in Oman. This marks a significant milestone as the first Omani company licensed for this activity, aligning with Oman Vision 2040. The company aims to provide globally standardized services using the latest technologies and to empower national talents in this emerging field.
According to Oman News Agency, Faisal Hamad Al Rashdi, Co-founder and CEO of Green Line Insurance Services, highlighted the operational challenges in the health insurance sector, which include issues faced by insurance companies, healthcare providers, and policyholders. Identifying a gap in claims management, Al Rashdi established the company following the Financial Services Authority's (FSA) announcement to accept applications for health insurance claims management as a regulated activity, thus offering a national opportunity to build this sector. He noted the previous reliance on foreign companies for claims management, affecting service speed and quality, and posing risks of sensitive health data leaks.
Al Rashdi emphasized that the company is managed by national talents, ensuring proximity to clients, which improves service quality and transaction speed. He acknowledged potential challenges in transitioning from established foreign relationships but underscored the importance of building trust and proving readiness to deliver high-standard services compliant with national regulations.
The company offers a comprehensive suite of services in health insurance claims management meeting international standards. These services include efficient medical claims management, smart systems for error detection, medical network management, and data analysis. The reliance on digital solutions, including artificial intelligence and robotic process automation, aims to minimize errors and enhance efficiency. Green Line is integrated with the national "Dhamani" platform for electronic operations.
Al Rashdi assured that data confidentiality is a priority, with client data stored on company-owned servers and adherence to cybersecurity standards. The company ensures limited access permissions and compliance with data protection laws, with regular reviews for continued adherence.
