MUSCAT: Oman Sovereign Sukuk Company, acting on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and represented by the Ministry of Finance, has declared the successful auction results for the 8th issuance of Ijarah Sukuk, valued at RO 286 million.

According to Oman News Agency, the total value of subscription requests for this issuance significantly exceeded expectations, surpassing three times the announced value, reaching approximately RO 326,873,700. The average acceptable return was recorded at 4.75 percent, while the maximum and minimum acceptable returns were 4.85 percent and 4.6 percent, respectively. The issuance of these bonds is scheduled for today, 30 December 2024.

The profit distribution for the Ijarah Sukuk will occur semi-annually, with payments scheduled on 30 June and 30 December, over a seven-year period until the sukuk's maturity on 30 December 2031.
