TEHRAN: In a meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and addressing regional issues, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, met with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, in Tehran. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two nations and addressing pressing regional developments, including the Palestinian cause and situations in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Syria.

According to Oman News Agency, the foreign ministers emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts in promoting regional stability and supporting political initiatives to achieve security and peace across the region. The dialogue underscored a mutual interest in deepening bilateral relations across various sectors to serve joint interests.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry, Ibrahim Ahmed Al Muaini, Ambassador of Oman to Iran, along with other officials from both countries, highlighting the importance of high-level diplomatic engagement in addressing shared concerns.
