TEHRAN: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman, engaged in high-level discussions with Iranian officials in Tehran, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing regional security concerns. During his visit, Al Busaidi met with Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, and Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions between Al Busaidi and Ghalibaf emphasized existing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries' Shura councils. They also explored regional and international issues of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of bilateral efforts to bolster security and stability in the region.

In his meeting with Ali Akbar Ahmadian, discussions centered on the ongoing collaboration between Oman and Iran, with both parties exchanging views on the latest developments in regional and international affairs. The officials highlighted the importance of supporting dialogue as a peaceful means to strengthen security and stability.

The meetings were attended by key figures, including Sheikh Ahmed Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry, and Ibrahim Ahmed Al Maani, Oman's Ambassador to Iran, alongside several other officials from both nations.
