New York, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the Joint Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Benelux Union, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting reviewed relations between the GCC and the countries of the Benlux Union (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg), and means to promote cooperation in political, economic, cultural and environmental sectors.
