High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has stressed that the recent explosion of a large number of wireless telecommunications devices in Lebanon endangers its security and stability and exacerbates escalation in the region. In a statement, Borrell expressed his condemnation of the attacks on wireless telecommunications devices that took place last Tuesday and Wednesday in Lebanon, which resulted in the death of a number of individuals and the injury of thousands, expressing his deep concern about the situation there.
