The Board of Directors of the Federation of GCC Chambers today held the meeting of its 64th session under the chairmanship of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI). The meeting was held in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The meeting discussed a spectrum of topics, namely the future approaches of the federation and means of enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors. Al Rowas affirmed that the Federation of GCC Chambers is undertaking an important role in the march of the gulf economic cooperation. He reiterated the keenness of GCC leaders in supporting and empowering the private sector. Further, the Federation of GCC Chambers resolved 27 challenges that were presented during the consultative meetings and adopted 5 initiatives on the GCC level, Al Rowas added.
