Tokyo stocks tumbled today at the close of trading, as key sectors including real estate and exporting companies declined, amid a rise in the value of the yen against the dollar. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 975.49 points, or 2.49 percent, from the price of yesterday which was at 38,126.33.
