The Ukrainian embassy in Muscat was inaugurated today under the auspices of Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and under the presence of Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister. The embassy's opening comes within the framework of enhancing bilateral relations and expanding joint cooperation in various fields. In his speech, the Ukrainian minister said that this step comes within the framework of enhancing diplomatic and economic relations between Oman and Ukraine. He also expressed his keenness towards boosting cooperation in different fields, such as commerce, energy and agriculture. The opening ceremony was attended by several officials and ambassadors of Arab and friendly countries. It was also attended by a number of Ukrainians living in the Sultanate of Oman.
