Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh, on Wednesday highlighted the country's commitment to Arab unity and cooperation in civil aviation during his speech at the 28th session of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) in Rabat. Addressing fellow Arab transport ministers, Hamieh lauded ACAO's efforts to foster collaboration among member states' civil aviation authorities. Hamieh underscored Lebanon's leadership of ACAO over the past three years, emphasizing its role in advancing the sector across Arab nations. He also acknowledged the challenges facing the region but stressed that such obstacles only strengthen the resolve to work together for the benefit of all Arab countries. Hamieh then addressed the continuous airspace violations by Israel, citing their severe impact on Lebanon's aviation safety and the ongoing risks these incursions pose to civil aviation. "Our collective work ensures a secure and modern aviation sector, vital for our nations' progress," Hamieh conclude d. Source: National news agency - Lebanon
