Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, Dr. Shaikh Rashid Mohammed bin Futtais Al-Hajeri, said that the Charitable Work section at the Sunni Endowments Directorate has implemented the Adhahi (sacrificed animals) project during Eid Al-Adha.

560 needy families benefited from the project, implemented in cooperation with charity societies and funds to promote social solidarity during the auspicious occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

The Sunni Endowments Directorate also implemented the Eid Kiswa (Clothing) project from which 410 families had benefited, he said, noting that the projects aim to fill the hearts of the needy with joy and happiness.

Al-Hajeri prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless those who had contributed to the charitable projects with heavenly rewards, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
