Mogadishu: Twelve Al Shabaab militants, including senior leaders, were killed and 13 others injured in a planned operation carried out by Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency forces in cooperation with international partners in Galguduud region.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the operation targeted a militant centre where more than 40 members had gathered to prepare attacks. A pursuit is underway for others who fled during the operation.
