Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) today held an annual meeting to discuss their cooperation programme to promote the culture of volunteer work among university students in various social work institutions. The meeting, which was held at the ministry was chaired by Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development and HH Sayyid Dr. Fahad Al Julanda Al Said, SQU Vice-Chancellor. The meeting reviewed a number of aspects related to the joint conference between the Ministry and the University, as well as discussing mechanisms for developing the research base for researchers in the Ministry and cooperation in the field of scientific research and studies.
