Manama, Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor stressed strong bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman. He noted common aspirations and solid strategic ties, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman.

He made the statement after signing, along with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He noted that the agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the areas of exchanging best practices in the field of social development.
