Bratislava: Slovakia today announced the resumption of Russian oil supplies through the Druzhba pipeline, ending a halt that lasted several months. Economy Minister Denisa Sakov¡ stated in a Facebook post that Bratislava is now receiving oil according to the agreed schedule, adding that pumping restarted at 2 am local time.
According to Oman News Agency, the move follows Ukraine's announcement on Wednesday that it had restarted oil deliveries to Hungary and Slovakia. This resumption occurred after completing repairs to the pipeline, which was damaged on January 27, 2026, amid the ongoing war between Moscow and Kyiv.
