The Shura Council took part today via video conferencing in sessions of the 18th meeting of the GCC Parliamentary Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee. The meeting's agenda deal with means of consolidating cooperation with parliaments of Latin America and Caribbean countries, as well as GCC parliamentary relations with the European Parliament. The meeting also seeks to discuss common GCC priorities and aspirations from legislative, political and economic perspectives. It will elaborate on ways to unify GCC positions and visions that are presented in international parliamentary conferences and forums. The meeting provides an opportunity to highlight parliamentary efforts made by GCC legislative councils at the regional and international levels. Source: Oman News Agency
