Duqm:The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) hosted its 4th annual forum, emphasizing the enhancement of environmental and investment sustainability and the incorporation of artificial intelligence in improving oversight tasks to support economic development objectives.
According to Oman News Agency, the event, titled "A Renewed Vision for a Promising Investment Environment," gathered representatives from special economic zones, free zones, and industrial cities under the supervision of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ), along with participants from the private sector.
The forum provided a platform for exchanging expertise and reviewing best practices in compliance, legislation, and environmental sustainability. A final report will be created to document the discussions, outcomes, and recommendations, aiding in the alignment of future policies and procedures with the goals of "Oman Vision 2040."
