In the early hours on Tuesday, Israeli forces unleashed heavy machine gun fire on the southern Lebanese town of Ayta al-Shaab in southern Lebanon's central sector, resulting in significant property damage. The assault was accompanied by continued overflights of Israeli warplanes, reconnaissance aircraft, and drones over the villages in the western and central sectors of the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts throughout the night and into the morning. Additionally, Israeli forces fired illuminating flares over border villages near the Blue Line, coupled with artillery shelling that struck the outskirts of the towns of al-Dhaira, Ramieh, and Ayta al-Shaab, exacerbating tensions in the region.
