Muscat: The Ministry of Health, represented by the Directorate General of Khoula Hospital, organized the First Annual Scientific Research Day under the auspices of Dr. Saif bin Abdullah Al Haddabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for Scientific Research and Innovation. The event aimed to spotlight research efforts in various medical, nursing, and administrative specialties and to foster a culture of research and innovation among healthcare staff.

According to Oman News Agency, the event concluded with a tour of an exhibition showcasing several scientific research presentations. Researchers offered insights into the main findings of their studies, reflecting Khoula Hospital’s commitment to cultivating a culture of research and innovation within the healthcare sector.

This initiative aligns with “Oman Vision 2040”, specifically the “Creative Human and Productive Society” pillar, emphasizing the role of scientific research in institutional development and the creation of a knowledge-based society grounded in evidence and innovation.
