Muscat: The Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies, in collaboration with Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and A'Sharqiyah University, has successfully concluded the Scientific Research and Strategic Studies Project for the year 2025. The closing ceremony, a significant event marking the project's completion, was presided over by Maj. Gen Saif Sulaiman Al Shukaili, Assistant Head of the Internal Security Service for Administrative Support. The ceremony was also attended by Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies.

According to Oman News Agency, the ceremony took place at Al Shafaq Club of the Sultan's Armed Forces. Brigadier Nasser Abdullah Al Qatabi, Head of the Centre for Strategic and Defence Studies, delivered a speech emphasizing the project's significance. He highlighted the crucial role of scientific research in enhancing knowledge and developing innovative solutions to societal issues.

The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony for the participants of this year's Scientific Research and Strategic Studies Project, recognizing their contributions and achievements throughout the project.
