Russia: Russia's Defence Ministry announced that its air defenses shot down two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies over the bordering region of Belgorod, and four unmanned motorboats heading toward the Crimean Peninsula in the Black Sea were wiped out last night. According to Oman News Agency, overnight attempts by Kyiv to conduct attacks using fixed-wing UAVs against facilities on Russian soil were thwarted, the ministry said in a statement carried by TASS news agency today. "Air defense forces on duty downed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Belgorod Region," the statement said. "Duty fire weapons destroyed four unmanned motorboats heading toward the Crimean Peninsula in the Black Sea," the Russian military added. Russia and Ukraine exchange daily announcements that they will fire drones targeting each other's territory, as part of the ongoing conflict between them since February 2022.
