The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), published this afternoon a recording of the slain Israeli prisoner Almog Sarousi. In the video, Sarousi said that the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip was targeting him and the other detainees, and he accused Benjamin Netanyahu's government and the army of carrying out false and failed liberation operations that almost led to their deaths. The slain prisoner added, "I say to the government, the army, and the security services that you failed and neglected us on October 7." Sarousi was among six prisoners - one of whom held dual Israeli-American citizenship - whose bodies were recently found by the Israeli army inside a tunnel in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
