Beijing: Pakistan and China signed investment agreements worth USD 8.5 billion during the official visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The agreements were finalized in Beijing, marking a significant development in the economic relations between the two countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreements include USD 7 billion allocated for joint projects within Pakistan. Additionally, USD 1.5 billion is set to be invested across key sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, electric vehicles, health, and steel. These investments are expected to bolster economic growth and cooperation between Pakistan and China.
