Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman welcomes the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the “New York Declaration” on the two-state solution. The Sultanate expressed its support for the declaration, which aims at finding a peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue through the implementation of the two-state solution.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the statement was issued by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting the importance of the New York Declaration. Oman called on the Security Council to back the implementation of the declaration with tangible actions to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.
