Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, as part of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Omani delegation was led by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister.

According to Oman News Agency, this conference is a continuation of efforts from a previous conference held in July, jointly sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic. These international activities are part of diplomatic efforts aimed at advancing the two-state solution and garnering international support for the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state.
