Muscat: The 7th round of political talks was held today between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus in Muscat. The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Belarusian side was headed by Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. During the talks, the two sides underscored their keenness to continue enhancing cooperation in all fields. They also discussed several regional and international issues of common concern, including the repercussions of the Israeli war on Gaza. The meeting was attended by Munthir Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Head of the Europe Department and Sergei Terentiev, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Oman.
