Oman and Hungary Explore Military Cooperation Opportunities


Budapest: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Hungary engaged in discussions to enhance their military cooperation, focusing on mutual interests and the strengthening of bilateral relations. The discussions took place during a meeting between Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence of Oman, and Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky, the Hungarian Minister of Defence, alongside other senior officials.



According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was part of an official visit by Dr. Al Zaabi and his delegation to Hungary. They were accompanied by Malallah Mahmoud Al Balushi, the Omani ambassador to Hungary, who also attended the discussions. The visit aimed to explore avenues for cooperation in military affairs and to exchange views on issues of common interest.



Additionally, the Omani delegation held meetings with senior officials from Hungarian military industries. They reviewed the latest products and modern military equipment developed by these companies and discussed potential opportunities for future collaboration.
