Muscat:The Sultanate of Oman and the Hellenic Republic have commenced their first round of political consultations, held in Muscat.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussions were led by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Oman's Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, and Alexandra Papadopoulou, Greece's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The consultations focused on strengthening bilateral relations, with both countries expressing enthusiasm for further collaboration in tourism, maritime transport, and cultural exchanges. Additionally, they addressed various regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Katerina Varvarigou, the Ambassador of Greece to Oman, along with other officials from both nations.
