Nizwa: The 26th Arab Students’ Innovation and Creativity Forum began today at the University of Nizwa. The event is organized by the Arab Council for Student Training and Creativity and operates under the theme “Opportunities and Challenges Facing Educational Institutions Amid Technological Developments”.
According to Oman News Agency, the opening ceremony was presided over by Sheikh Dr. Hilal Ali Al Hinai, Deputy Chairman of the State Council. The event was attended by members of the State Council, officials from local and Arab universities, academics, and 60 leading students from 36 Arab universities across 9 countries.
The ceremony featured an operetta titled “Masters of the Seas”, a welcoming poem, and a session discussing the experiences of Arab universities. The forum, which spans two days, will conclude tomorrow with a review of the tasks of the arbitration committees. The discussions focus on innovation and research development that align with modern information technology trends.
