New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters said on Friday that Israel "has gone too far" in Gaza. This came in statements he made to a local radio station, in which he stressed the need to do everything in their power to end the prevailing situation in Gaza. Asked about Israel's use of the "right of self-defense," Peters said, "Israel of course has that right, but you cannot continue with that excuse when so many innocent people are victims of your defense." He explained that "Israel's concept of self-defense has gone too far," and has caused the "destruction" of innocent people there. Source: Maan News Agency
